Our standard programme of wheels is represented in this catalogue, which we have been developing for years and have brought in our manj years experiences. By constant perfection and introducing of new shapes and by the rise of quality level we take care of our up-to-date and qualitative assortment. We would like that all our customers would be acquainted with some, for the sake of definition of wheels, important data, and help them in such a way at the right choice of a particular kind of wheels. Our technical service can be also of great help at such a choice.
CLASSIFICATION OF WHEELS
Elementary functional classification:
- wheels without forks
- swivel castors
- fixed castors
Further divisions as regards the kind of the bearing, of tread, rim and fixing are evident from the particular tabels.
LOAD CAPACITY OF WHEELS
When choosing wheels as to their load capacity the following must be considered:

- Plain bearing: simple maintenance, nonreactive to
blows, suitable for usage in damp places, for slower speed.
- Roller bearing: persistent, simple maintenance, nonreactive to blows, for slower speed.
- Precision ball-bearing: easy moved also at greater
loads and higher speed, suitable for frequent operation.
THE CHARACTERISTICS OF TREAD
- Solid-rubber tyre: smooth run, small vibrations at transport, resistance while driving is smaller than with a pneumatic tyre.
- Solid-rubber tyre - antistatic: the tyre is usually of
grey colour and does not leave trails. It is suitable for the
apparatus where removing of static electricity is required
(hospitals, laboratories...).
The conductive discharge resistance
is between 5.104 and 108 ohm.
- Polyurethane tread: great carrying capacity, small
wear, smooth run, nonreactive to sharp metal splinters,
unresisten to hot water and steam.
- Pneumatic tyre: extreme damping of blows and little
resistance on a uneven surface.
- Polyamide and polypropylene: nonreactive to moisture
and many acids, relatively great carrying capacity,
suitable for smooth surfaces..
- Phenolic: great carrying capacity, continuous temperature
resistence up to 250°C. Very appropriate for kilns.
TEMPERATURE CONSTANCY
In the table below, the allowed temp. limits for a particular kind
of wheels are stated. Bearing greases stand the temperature
from -20°C to +120°C. For higher temperatures a special
grease is needed. The wheels resistant to high temperature
are also manufactured on special desire.
| Materials of wheels | Constant | Periodical up to 10 min | ||
| Rubber | -20°C | +60°C | -30°C | +80°C |
| Polyurethane | -20°C | +80°C | -40°C | +100°C |
| Polypropylene | -20°C | +60°C | ||
| Polyamide | -30°C | +80°C | -25°C | +110°C |
| Phenolic | -30°C | +250°C | -40°C | +300°C |

SURFACE PROTECTION
Metal parts can be protected by zinc-plating, chromium-plating,
or lacquering. Standardized sorts of protection are cited
with the particular wheels, the rest is manufactured according
to agreement.
PROTECTION FROM DIRT
When using the wheels at the textile industry or in other
premises where dust and dirt are present, it is advisable to
use the wheels with covers or screened bearings.
THE COLOUR OF THE WHEELS
Rubber tyres are manufactured in black and grey colour. The
elementary colour of plastic wheels is black or natural. At
greater orders the wishes of the customer are regarded.
SPARE PARTS
Spare parts for our standard wheels are always in stock. At
special production of wheels the deliveries of spare parts follow
as agreed.
MAINTENANCE
A periodical control of all fixing parts is required, as well as
their tightening-up when neccessary. If the wheels are
exposed to high temperatures, they are lubricated with the
corresponding grease.
ORDER
When ordering be sure to state: wheel type (BV-wheels without
forks, GI-swivel costors, ST-fixed castors), wheel diameter,
code and ident number.
E.g.:
- All the dimensions are in mm!
Wheel BV 100 2-592ISO 59308
Swivel castor GI 125 2-587ISO 59319
Fixed castor ST 350 2-517 31326
- We execute deliveries against the sales conditions that are
the constituent part of our price-list.
- We take the privilige to technical changes without previous
notice.
